BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATIONS
Our Client is Our First Priority®
Strengths of Nevada Trust Company
Since it was founded in 1995, Nevada Trust Company (NTC) has served a wide range of sophisticated and demanding institutional, trust and individual clients. The expertise of our people allows us to provide our clients with financial advice, integrated solutions and intelligence rarely available from one source. The core of our strength is our people. Our powerful resources have been acquired from substantially larger institutions and are wrapped by the delivery of services that emphasize the human scale of our business. We have performed strongly during, and emerged even stronger from, the financial crises that have challenged our country. The financial services and investment performance we provide to clients has been and continues to be superior.
We believe that we are redefining our category in the financial services industry by applying breakthrough solutions to strategic transactions and relationships and by offering innovative strategies that result in new opportunities for our clients.
Peter Kingman, a 20-year veteran of Northern Trust Company, established Nevada Trust Company in February 1995 as a Nevada corporation created to provide market leading trust and investment management services to a specific, fast growing demographic segment of the population in Las Vegas. As Nevada Trust Company grew, we expanded to serve clients across the United States and internationally. Concurrent with our growth, Nevada has become recognized as the leading domestic situs for asset protection trusts and an attractive corporation domicile.
NTC’s demonstrated competencies combined with its Nevada location have transformed Nevada Trust Company into a service provider with a national focus and an increasingly large number of clients seeking wealth management solutions in a location offering advantageous privacy, enlightened asset protection and favorable tax statutes.
Nevada Trust Company differentiates itself in the following ways:
Clients Work Directly with the Owners
Nevada Trust Company has a flat organization to encourage direct and frequent contact with clients. We do not utilize call centers or sales people. The owners of Nevada Trust are actively involved in all client relationships.
Complex Asset Administration and Management
Virtually all investment firms, such as broker-dealers and RIAs, will by policy handle only conventional assets including cash, stock and bonds. Unlike NTC, many do not have the interest, expertise, systems or personnel to administer complex assets such as real estate, investments in closely-held companies and private collections in addition to conventional assets. Similarly, many competitors in the trust industry are increasingly reluctant to work with these more complex assets and therefore do not offer such services to their clients.
Advantageous Cost Structure
Due to its low overheads and efficient operations, Nevada Trust Company can profitably engage with smaller clients that many direct competitors are steadily eliminating from their client lists. Nevada Trust Company serves the market as a whole, and provides an intense level of customer service at lower cost to clients.
Broad Management Experience and Expertise
Nevada Trust Company’s management offers a wide range of backgrounds with extensive experience across various industries and geographies. These diverse backgrounds allow us to effectively engage in assisting clients in resolving problems ranging from issues such as legal disputes to managing significant ownership positions in closely-held companies, creating corporate finance solutions, providing venture capital counsel and involvement as well as complex property issues, to name only a few. Most competitors have personnel who have worked solely in banking and/or the trust industry and are thus not always able to provide a broad perspective to assist clients with their diverse, complex investment, asset management, or business needs.
Since Nevada Trust Company is entirely independent, management has the freedom to establish strategic relationships with firms offering unique products and services not available to the public. Such services range from investment portfolios focused on top quintile, actively-managed investment management partnerships to asset protection and tax planning services. NTC associates with the best-in-the-business rather than being captive to its own in-house services.
